if you wanna go out midweek & hear quality club dance-music biznizz, then WA..E has GOT to be your first choice. The Cabaret Voltaire also boasts one of the deepest, warmest sound systems in town, with a great atmosphere & a jumping bar (complete with performing bar-staff...eh-hem).

Since it’s launch We Are....Electric has been nothing short of a revolution for the Edinburgh club scene and has played host to a who’s who of leading electronic artists and producers. In that time the trio behind the night have made every effort to bring only those DJ's and producers who are right for the music & the vibe. This has included some superstar names and also some relative newcomers to the scene. Over the 3 years that we have been around, we have strived to bring only guest DJ's that we feel can offer something a little bit different, a little bit special... FC Kahuna, Felix Da Housecat, M.A.N.D.Y, Booka Shade, Bryan Black, Geoffroy Dewandeler from Mugwump, Black Strobe, Ewan Pearson,  Andrew Weatherall, Basti from Tiefschwarz, Padded Cell, , Siskid, DJ T & Damian Lazarus have all showcased their skills on the WAE stage, and helped residents Gary Mac and DJ FLIX make the night such a huge success in such a short space of time.

Our roster includes Tall Paul (from The Go-Go club, with a mash-up of ska, 60's & soul), Olivia (formerly of Super Saturday & now one of the busiest bar-jockesses in town. Funk, hip-hop & soul is her bag..), Dava (resident at Headspin & scratchmaster extrordinaire..), the very sexy Babes (former Snatch rude boy & Soul Biscuits regular) & soon-to-come Dolphin Boy ( a long-time regular at Bo's & the Bongo).
